My 'Future Son' Texted Me to Abort Him? I Did! And the Fallout Was Epic
Chapter 1
[Mom, I'm your son from seven years in the future. Please get rid of me!]
I'd just found out I was pregnant when this message popped up.
[I'll be born with crippled legs. You and Dad will fight over me every day. You'll get so depressed you'll kill yourself. I don't want you to go through that.]
Without hesitation, I went straight to the hospital for an abortion.
When I got home from the hospital, I heard Caspian's ex through the door:
"God, how stupid can someone be? Actually believing in time travel!"
"Threw away her own baby over some fake text."
Caspian's voice dropped low. "I'll let it slide this time. But do this again, and you'll regret it."
I wasn't angry. Didn't feel protected. Just calm.
Because I knew that text was fake.
What was real?
Me—actually sent back from seven years in the future, where I had nothing left to live for.
So, Caspian, there won't be a next time...
...
Inside, Sutton's laughter kept echoing.
"Really, Caspian? Like you could ever leave me."
She leaned in, pressed her red lips to his cheek. "You already moved me in. What are you gonna do—kick me out?"
His Adam's apple bobbed. Then he grabbed her waist and yanked her against him.
Next second, they made out right there on the couch.
When they pulled apart, her face was flushed.
I looked down. My chest felt hollow. Just... empty.
Caspian wiped the spit from between their lips:
"You killed my mom. Made my mother-in-law so sick she can't leave her bed. Cost me my baby. I'll NEVER forgive you."
"I'm gonna make you pay..."
"With that mouth of yours. With your body. Bit by bit, you'll settle EVERY debt you owe..."
Sutton tapped his chest, smirking:
"What about wifey? Won't she be pissed?"
Caspian didn't hesitate. "She's sweet. Not like you."
"Sutton, I'm warning you—hurt her and I'll—"
Sutton laughed. "You'll what?"
"Do what you did the day your wife got her abortion? Fucked me SO BAD I can't get out of bed?"
Every word was a knife.
I bit down hard on my lip. Swore I could taste blood.
The other day at the hospital, Caspian said if he wasn't so busy, he'd have stopped me from going through with it.
Turns out he was busy between Sutton's legs!
My chest burned. I pressed my hand against the wall to stay upright.
Then Caspian's panicked voice came from inside.
"Wynnie!"
"Why are you back already? Just now... you didn't hear anything, right?"
I stared at him. "What would I have heard?"
He held my gaze, then relaxed and pulled me inside.
Sutton barely glanced at me:
"Caspian, have your wife clear out the master bedroom. I'm taking it."
Caspian's body went stiff. He leaned in close and explained quietly:
"Wynnie. Don't read into this. I only moved her in to punish her."
"Just give up the master, okay? You know how she is—I don't want her coming after you."
Sutton shot me a smug look.
Caspian must've realized how bad that sounded. He snapped at her:
"Sutton! I'm warning you—hurt Wynnie and I won't let you off!"
But his body moved on instinct, stepping in front of Sutton like he thought I'd attack her.
I tried to hold it in.
Couldn't.
"So where do I sleep?"
Embarrassment flashed across his face.
Before he could answer, Sutton cut in. "The maid's room, obviously."
"Oh, and Caspian?" She looked at him with challenge in her eyes. "Wanna know why I fought with my family?"
"They're setting me up with heirs, forcing me to get married. Guess I won't be playing with you anymore."
Right on cue, Caspian panicked. His eyes flicked to me.
I forced a smile. Beat him to it.
"Caspian, marrying her is the best revenge."
"Let's get divorced. And cancel the wedding."
Chapter 2
In my past life, I wasn't this obedient.
When I got that message claiming to be from my future son, I didn't believe it.
Traced it back. Found out it was Sutton's sick prank.
Furious, I confronted her with proof—walked in on her tangled up with Caspian.
He scrambled to explain. Said he was "punishing her" for me.
I wasn't an idiot.
Lost it. Made a scene. Posted everything online.
Sutton went ballistic. Came after me in her car that night.
Ran me over. I lost the baby on impact. Nerve damage left me unable to walk.
I hated her. Hated into gut.
I searched every law firm in LA to sue her, make her rot in prison.
But Caspian made sure no lawyer would take my case.
He even testified for her. Said my injuries were from a fall. That I had mental issues and was lying about her.
Threw me into a psych ward.
I stayed seven years.
Mom died not long after—couldn't afford treatment.
When I got out and found out, the grief crushed me. I jumped off a roof.
The worst part?
In high school, Sutton killed Caspian's mom in a car accident. She was underage, took the car without permission.
Because of the business partnership, it got buried.
Caspian was a wreck back then. My mom—his teacher—brought him home to live with us.
We were there for him.
And this is how he repaid us.
I regretted everything.
But somehow I got a second chance.
This time, I wasn't playing his twisted game.
I pulled myself back and met Caspian's gaze.
"Wynnie, why are you suddenly..."
I dug my nails into my palms but smiled. "You hate her, right? I'm your wife. Of course I'll help you."
"Well, look at you finally catching on."
Sutton threw a shoe at me. "Then hurry up and clean my room!"
I wanted to tear her face off.
But Caspian beat me to it, face darkening. "Enough! Sutton, don't push it!"
Sutton kicked over the bowl of cherries. "I'll push as much as I want. What are you gonna do?"
Caspian stormed over, yanked her up, dragged her toward the stairs. "This is my house! You don't get to throw tantrums here!"
"I'll teach you who's in charge!"
I started to follow, then froze outside the bedroom.
They were already on the bed, bodies twisted together.
Caspian kissed her neck roughly. "Just wait. I'll make you beg..."
Sutton wrapped her arms around his neck, smiled at me even as she gasped. "Try me."
I yanked my eyes away and went downstairs, numb.
Not surprised.
I went downstairs and started packing what I'd take with me.
By the time I finished, the moan upstairs finally stopped.
Caspian came looking for me, guilt all over his face.
"Wynnie, don't overthink this. You're the only one I care about!"
God, that was disgusting.
I opened my mouth to respond. Then he saw the suitcase.
His pupils shrank. He grabbed my wrist. "Wynnie! What are you doing!"
I pulled free gently. "Sutton's moving in. I'm taking my stuff to the maid's room."
He relaxed and followed me in.
As I unpacked, I said casually, "Let's file for divorce tomorrow."
He frowned, then seemed to think of something.
"No, Wynnie, don't do this. Everything I'm doing—it's all to get back at her."
I straightened up and smiled. "I trust you."
"You hate Sutton for everything she did."
"She killed your mom. Then she spread rumors to mine that I was a homewrecker. Made her so sick she can't even get out of bed now. You won't let her get away with it, right?"
I'd stolen his lines. He just nodded awkwardly.
Probably feeling guilty, he transferred a ton of money before leaving.
With that, I could cover Mom's bills.
Finally.
Once Mom got better, I'd take her and leave LA. Never come back.
Chapter 3
Sutton called me upstairs to clean her room.
The second I walked in, the smell of sex hit me hard.
Strange.
I'd already decided to let Caspian go. So why did my heart still twist?
I grabbed the dirty sheets without looking and headed for the door.
Sutton stuck her foot out, blocking me.
"Pathetic."
She smiled lazily. "The man you're dying for? Just a plaything on my bed."
"Oh—that text telling you to abort? I made it up for fun."
"Your husband knew."
"Wanna know why he let me?"
I stared at her. Her smile widened.
"Because I'm pregnant. In Caspian's eyes, my baby's precious. Yours? Just rotten meat."
Rage shot through me.
She destroyed my marriage. How dare she talk about my child like that?!
I raised my hand to slap her.
But before I could, her eyes went red. Started crying.
"Yes! I fought with my family! So what? You think trash like you gets to boss me around?!"
I froze.
Next second, a violent shove sent me stumbling.
I hit the floor, my back slamming into the table. Pain shot through me, my face went white.
I looked up. Met Caspian's furious glare.
"Wynnie!"
"How can you be so cruel? Why do you have to hurt her like that!"
He barely got the words out before noticing my face. Hesitated.
Then Sutton grabbed his sleeve, curled in on herself.
"Caspian... my stomach... it hurts... the baby... our baby..."
In just one second, Caspian forgot about me. Scooped Sutton up, rushed for the door.
"Wynnie, if anything happens to Sutton or the baby, I'll make you wish you were dead!"
Make ME wish I was dead?
In my past life, that's exactly what he did.
I watched him leave. Took forever before I could wipe away the tears streaming down my face.
My phone rang.
The hospital.
The doctor's voice was urgent:
"Ms. Grayson, get here now. Your mother's condition just crashed. We need to operate immediately!"
Sweat poured down my back. I scrambled to the hospital.
After the paperwork, the doctor told me to settle payment first.
I felt relief wash over me.
Thank God Caspian transferred that money. Otherwise I couldn't afford Mom's surgery.
But when I went to pay, my whole body froze. My face drained.
"What did you just say?"
The nurse looked at me with pity. "Ma'am, this card's been frozen."
How could this be?
Caspian literally just transferred me a million dollars...
Then it hit me—
Caspian. HE just froze my card.
